Tatyana Kalani, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Tatyana Kalani grew up in Southern California where she was first exposed to veterinary medicine as a responsible breeder of Bengal cats, working closely with geneticists and feline specialists to better the health of the breed. She graduated from the University of California - Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology with an emphasis in Wildlife Health in 2016. She then moved to Massachusetts and completed a Masters Degree in Conservation Medicine from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2017. She then stayed at the Cummings School to graduate with her DVM with Thesis and a Masters Degree in Public Health in 2021. After graduation, Dr. Kalani completed a specialty internship in Wildlife and Conservation Medicine at the Tufts Wildlife Clinic where she solidified her wildlife triage and rehabilitation skills, and gained experience in avian and reptile surgery, wound management, and the medical care of all animals at a local natural history museum.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and birding with her husband, German Shepherd, and leash-trained cat. She is also actively involved with The International Cat Association (TICA), and is a professional member of multiple organizations surrounding feline, exotic, and wildlife medicine. Dr. Kalani is excited to join the team at Littleton Animal Hospital and meet the clients and their loved companions!
